Memorias del umbral
Threshold Memories is a contemplative exploration of the relationship between body, space, and vital energy within the liminal territory between light and shadow. An act of presence within a fertile void, where the visible and the barely perceptible meet, and where the presence of the body intertwines with the viewer’s perception, blurring the boundaries between what is real and its reflection.
The body appears as a floating, ambiguous, and fertile presence, at times tangible, at others almost ethereal. Its subtle movements and bare presence evoke the feminine as a creative and primordial force.
Light, darkness, body, and emptiness intertwine through a veil that separates and, at the same time, connects. The work invites us to inhabit this suspended space, a threshold where perception shifts and a return to the origin becomes palpable: that primordial place where birth and death are part of the same movement.
Memorias del umbral es una exploración contemplativa de la relación entre cuerpo, espacio y energía vital en el territorio liminal entre luz y sombra. Un acto de presencia en un vacío fértil donde lo visible y lo apenas perceptible se encuentran, y donde la presencia del cuerpo se entrelaza con la percepción del espectador, desdibujando los límites entre lo real y su reflejo.
El cuerpo aparece como una presencia flotante, ambigua y fecunda, por momentos tangible, por momentos casi etérea. Sus movimientos sutiles y su apertura evocan lo femenino en su fuerza creadora y originaria.
Luz, oscuridad, cuerpo y vacío se entrelazan a través de ese velo que separa y, a la vez, une. La obra invita a habitar ese espacio suspendido, un umbral donde la percepción se transforma y se hace palpable un retorno al origen: ese lugar primigenio donde nacimiento y muerte forman parte de un mismo movimiento.
